Every person who hated covid rubbish woke up to the games of the elites very quickly. Thousands who marched today and got called racists by their leaders on the news tonight just woke up to. Win win. The politicians all looked so ridiculous. Waffling on about social cohesion and multi culturalism like well schooled automatons. Win win. It might not be much but I'll take it.
Well said. The pressure mounts. Who knows which gasket will blow first. But it will be contained and mis-named. It is like thick boiling porridge until the moisture dries out and then the pot burns and then the smoke alarm goes off and then the pot ignites and .....
Revolutions need a committed few in the vanguard to create the necessary change.
It's not brought about mass movements or protests unless led by the committed few who have long-term goals and a strategy. And even then it's no guarantee of success if outside forces intervene. eg the Whites in Russia lost the civil war despite being led by capable generals and having widespread support.
Whilst spontaneous protests etc are to be lauded, they don't lead to lasting change. In fact, they may only cause the ruling elites/classes to reinforce their strongholds, seeing what or who needs to be shut down or otherwise addressed.
This was the strategy adopted by Bismarck and other conservatives in introducing the welfare state to pacify the restless natives, with a view to the ruling classes maintaining their privileged positions.
In the late 19th century and early 20th century, one saw a strange convergence of conservatives with socialists/communists. eg Lord Milner advocated a welfare/socialist state.
Citizen-initiated referenda as in Switzerland, would be a welcome adoption into our political system. At least programmes such as immigration could be vetoed and voted against, putting an end to such unpopular and immoral state policies.
The Deep State is an almost immovable force- eg see Donald Trump- despite some changes, much remains the same. Whether he can ultimately reverse the tide and unhinge the blob remains to be seen. The wrong next President and it's all completely lost.
