Votes in this country are meaningless. Look at all the referenda where the country voted no, and we got it like is or not. National id card voted no . Repesetationt at national level for councils voted no, but we’ve got it- I’m sure there are others. I just not found out several days ago our local council has Vanguard as an “investor “. The governor and governor general positions should be abolished. They are remnants of the colonial era and serve no useful function. If there needs to be a referee in a political crisis then the High Court is the best ( and most expensive ) we have.

Of course this change would require a referendum on the constitution. No doubt the royalist lobby would kick up a fuss along with other troglodytes, but, who knows, it might get passed.

The practice of outsourcing legislation to beurocrats who are not elected by the people and have assured job security, has resulted in a ten fold annual increase in regulations without an increase in the number of bills. What that means is that bills are ten times longer and there is no public discussion.

The word Parliament mean talking heads and should be done where the people have access. That is democracy.

The labour parties in this modern world have assumed their role is to control every facet of human life and that is leading to a total assault of our. Basic privacy - of family, of fun, of relationships, bodily integrity and worship. This direction can only lead yo total slavery to the system.

He believed in helping people who need help but not in socialist spread that is engulfing all western nations.
