Our rulers – the avoidance of the word “government” is deliberate – down there in Moscow on the Molonglo are living up to the late Max Corden’s description of our national capital.
Another way to demonstrate just how cynical ‘Dr Jim’, Albo & the Canberra clownshow are, is to focus on what they didn’t target.
The elephant in the room? The Australian Public Service (APS).
Since Albanese became PM, APS headcount has increased by ~40,000 employees (+~25%). It is the fastest APS expansion in at least a decade, returning headcount to near-record highs (~200k).
Why this is in Australia’s interests or why we need this bloated workforce, which produces nothing of real value, is anyone’s guess. It’s a disgrace.
Anyway - using a total salary of $140k per annum per public servant, this has already cost Australia an extra $10–15 billion cumulative since 2022. It is costing Australians ~$5–6.5 billion per year, ongoing.
Halving this outrageous expense is not just achievable but can be done quickly, saving Australians $2.5-3 billion AUD a year.
Genuine long term structural reformers interested in the Australian economy and society would have targeted this excess straight away.
Alas we are led by popinjays and student politicians, whose horizons are limited to the next election.
Get your point, but respectfully disagree: there’s no planning behind this.
What we are seeing is the inevitable outcome of decades of deteriorating standards in our political class.
No one of quality goes into politics these days and if they try to, they quickly exit.
The ones who remain are student politicians, most who have never worked outside politics, career politicians whose only interest is staying in power, the next election and (often) grifting.
Take Albo - the ultimate journeyman - an ALP hack who has spent his entire life sliming up the ALP power pole, and knifing anyone he needed to in order to do so.
Dr Jim? It’s difficult to believe that such an inept individual could be Treasurer, at such a critical moment.
And the rest of them. Useless hacks.
Australians over the last 20 years can be faulted for the steady deterioration of our political class, but I would also argue that one of our best qualities is that we are slow to judge. Perhaps we have been naive in our sincere in our belief that politicians have the nations best interests at heart.
It’s just that Australians have little control over the dirty deals these grubs do to stay in power. The preference system and the alliances they form are all done behind closed doors.
Anyway, I would argue that this has now changed, and Australia’s population HAS taken notice.
Albo’s primary vote over the last 2 elections has been very low (few people realise that Scomo actually beat him). The ALP is not a popular party. That’s evidence of voters being fed up.
In addition, that Farrer result is hugely significant and a good indicator of where the population is at now.
Watch - the UniParty will unite and play extremely dirty games to try and undermine One Nation’s surge. My sense is that they will fail - Australians have had enough, and can see exactly what the grubs are capable of.
The genie is out of the bottle, and there’s no way that Canberra’s hacks can screw the lid back on.
Most government budgets I barely take any notice of but this one will have the biggest impact in my lifetime so far. A family trust has allowed for balancing of income (after a lifetime of high household taxation to allow my wife to focus on family at home) and also allows me to donate from tax free dollars. Now I am faced with lots of unpaid time to "rejig" my affairs because I am even more determined than ever not to allow the government to "steal" anymore tax dollars from me and those I support. Very angry about this!!! 😡
How much more suffering will it take, for Australians to get off their fat derriers and get into the streets enmasse protest, demand change , hold them accountable , counter attack these satanic, freemason, Zionist, psychopathic ,crooks of Canberra and refuse to accept or comply anymore .
Funniest noun-and-adjective combo in the English language? Responsible government.
Great piece!

Every White Western nation has been infested with politicians who are not representing the will of their electorates.
That cannot be coincidental.
*Someone* is centrally coordinating it.
Who?
The Labor and Liberal parties are two cheeks of the same flabby, ugly backside.
The Greens, Teals, and Nationals are warts on those buttocks.
They act in unison for the UN.
They are the UNiparty.
Their sole constitutional obligation is to represent the will of their electorates in parliament.
They don't.
They implement the UN's agenda instead.
They work for foreign masters against the will of Australians and to the detriment of our nation.
They are treasonous.
They deserve to be placed on trial and punished.
We're meant to believe that the collapse of our economy is due to the incompetence of "our" domestic politicians.
It's not; we're living through the centrally-planned destruction of White Western nations.
Get your point, but respectfully disagree: there’s no planning behind this.

They're post-turtles.
They didn’t get to their position by accident - it's too universal to be accidental.
They don't rise on merit and ability; they have none.
They didn’t get to their position on their own; they're helicoptered into position.
They’re unable to remove themselves from their current position; they get removed when the game would be too obvious otherwise.
They cannot do anything useful from their position - only what they're told to do, which is always in line with the globalists' agenda.
They should not be in their position because they're working against the will of the people.
The exact same thing is happening in every White Western nation in a highly coordinated manner.
And, yes... even Trump...
