It had to happen. Once the Aboriginal industry started clamoring for a “voice”, it was only a matter of time before the other victims of the white, male, patriarchal, colonialist, heteronormative, Islamophobic world order would come a-running.
We stand at an inflection point, at which we see political violence against those with the ‘wrong views’ teetering on the brink of becoming normalised. At such a time, it bears remembering we have been here before, on many occasions. This may not help us prevent it. But by remaining attuned to what motivates those who engage in it, and reflecting on how politicised compassion can blind people to the consequences of cruelty, we can at least avoid falling down that same precipice ourselves.
Well done Paul, but you omitted the need for each of these worthy initiatives to be sustainable. Just a thought. This should be extended to a rather novel concept “ whole of government sustainable budgeting and accountability project”, although our betters might be a bit lost around the meaning of budget and accountability.
This is a quite ridiculous development. So LGBT etc ... is a religion now? Haven’t these folk got the government by their proverbial shirt and curlies already? Don’t they already rule? It is us Christians who are in the firing line or anyone that refuses to participate in the fantasy.
Well done. Aarrgghh
Yes we'll done Reg. I had a sneaking s word in my ear at one stage. Possibly the most dangerous word in politics these past decades.
Thanks so much Lynda
If all this drivel wasn't such a pain in the neck and other places it would be hilarious.

Great article, Thanks.
It reminds me of the article

Brilliant! The last paragraph sums up the whole mess to perfection. Thank you, Paul!
